Guadalhorce Golf Course Info:
A wonderful typically spanish course, very well run with a very good membership schemeVery difficult to find, but once you know where it is you’ll wnat to go back again.
If you enjoy playing flatter courses then Guadalhorce Golf Course, Malaga is the place for you and makesa pleasant change to the more challenging hillier courses on the coast. The fairwaysare wide and quite easy to find and the undulating greens make putting as complicated or as much fun as you care to make it.
The club house area is quite beautiful and reminded me of the old colonial mansionsand bodegas of Jerez. This golf resort is well established and the abundance of many kinds of old well established trees including some very tall date palms and shrubs makes the whole course very picturesque.
here are a few negatives to playing Guadalhorce Golf Malaga, which are well worth a mention. The course is located at the end of the main runway leading into Malaga airport and depending on what day you play the noise from the many aircraft landing and taking off can be for the most part quite off putting if not spectacular.
Use your Two4one card and enjoy your round, have a tapas and a beer afterwards inthe clubhouse just to make your day complete.
